Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, are celebrating their remarkable 27-year marriage, and they’re not holding back on sharing the secrets to their enduring bond!
In a playful interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, the country music legend joked, “I don’t know if there’s a key. We always say we’re 27 years coming up, it’s like 96 in show business. It’s almost like dog years.”
McGraw, now 55, and Hill, also 55, first crossed paths at a Nashville performance in 1994. However, their romantic journey didn’t begin until Hill, initially engaged, joined McGraw as the opening act for his 1996 ‘Spontaneous Combustion’ tour. The duo tied the knot later that year.
Their union blossomed with the arrival of three daughters: Gracie, 26; Maggie, 25; and Audrey, 21.
Reflecting on their long-lasting love, McGraw admitted he might not possess a magic formula for marital success but emphasized his knack for keeping his wife’s happiness a priority.
During the interview, McGraw disclosed a sweet promise he and Hill made early in their relationship, a commitment they credit for the longevity of their marriage.
“We just made a commitment early on, when we first decided we were getting married and having kids, that we wouldn’t just walk out the door when problems arose,” McGraw shared.

“She’s always been my rock. She’s my rock in everything that I do. I don’t think I could stand up straight without leaning on her in everything that I do,” McGraw expressed gratefully.
