Drunk NFL Fans Push Young Girl Holding ‘I Beat Cancer’ Sign Down the Stairs

Young Cancer Survivor Pushed Down Stairs by Drunken NFL Fans at Buffalo Bills Game

A shocking incident occurred on Sunday, December 1, during the Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers game, involving a group of drunken Bills fans. The fans allegedly pushed 8-year-old Mia DeCamilla, a cancer survivor, down the stairs.

Mia, who overcame embryonal sarcoma, was attending her first NFL game with her parents, proudly holding a sign that read, “I BEAT CANCER! MY FIRST NFL GAME!” According to her mother, Mikey DeCamilla, the family’s outing took a distressing turn when the fans pushed Mia in Section 312.

Mikey shared her frustration and heartbreak in a viral Facebook post, including a photo of Mia with her sign.

“Sadly, we left earlier than planned,” Mikey wrote. “Yes, the Niners are losing, but unfortunately, we had to deal with the police because a drunk Bills fan decided it was cool to pass my husband and me and push our eight-year-old daughter, Warrior Mia DeCamilla, down the stairs.”

She added, “If you are this type of Bills Mafia fan, please unfollow our family now. I hope the a**hole who thought it was cool to push a kid standing in the cold with her cancer-free sign was worth your win!”

The emotional post quickly went viral, sparking outrage and widespread support for Mia and her family.

Mia’s Battle with Cancer

Mia’s family had previously launched a GoFundMe campaign during her battle with childhood undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver. As of now, the campaign has raised close to $34,000.

The fundraiser details Mia’s journey: she underwent four months of chemotherapy, followed by a 12-hour surgery on May 23, 2022, to resect her liver. After eight additional weeks of chemotherapy, Mia reached remission on July 25, 2022.

The GoFundMe reads: “To ease the family’s financial stress and make life a bit easier—covering hospital food, fuel, bills, and mortgage—we’re asking for donations. Mia’s parents, both Marine Corps veterans, have been incredible caregivers, with her mom stepping out of work to support her.”

The message continues: “Mia is strong, brave, resilient, and kind. She has shown cancer who’s boss and will continue to shine bright!”

As the story spreads, many are expressing their outrage and support for Mia, offering donations and words of encouragement.

The family remains focused on Mia’s recovery and the love she’s received from her community, reminding everyone of her strength and resilience.
