Damon arrived at the Cincinnati Animal Care last November. He was a lost dog and there was no one came forward to claim him. Therefore the rescuers decided to put him up for adoption. He was waiting for a home with no success. But he doesn’t care at all, and he always finds ways to stay chilled and have more fun. Even he is alone!
When the shelter is over capacity every office has a dog hanging out there every single day. In this shelter, Damon was one of the office dogs!
He was living in the behavior office. Ray Anderson, one of the staff members at Cincinnati Animal Care says that foster specialist Sydney is Damon’s favorite.
One day, Sydney had to step out for a meeting and Damon was left alone in the office for about 45 minutes. The dog that was alone, decided to throw a party! Yes, he did it. He didn’t waste a single minute and proceeded to pull out every toy in the office that had been set aside for foster families. He played with them, tore them into pieces, and throws them all around the office! Based on the mess he made, it seemed he had been alone there for hours!
“I believe the official number of toys destroyed was ‘all of them’ “Anderson said. When the staff found that Damon is sitting proudly in the middle of his wreckage they couldn’t even be mad at the cute boy. He seemed pleased and they were all just glad that he found a way to make the best of shelter life!
Walking in to see the mess was just hilarious! He was having the time of his life, how could someone be mad at this face?
Everyone thought it was funny! They even posted him on social media and luckily his family who lost him months ago ended up seeing it! They came and claim him and took him home. Now he can throw a toy party whenever he wants. His family was so happy that they found him.
Even though he made a big mess, Damon was able to find his family again. So after all, he won!
