Rico lives with his mom and dad and loves doing everything his mom Ashley Hall does. One day, Hall slipped on the staircase and injured her foot. As usual, the 4-year-old husky mix did the same as he always did and mimicked her. The results were priceless.
In an interview, Hall says: “[Rico mimicked me] almost immediately. And even though I’m moving a little fast down the stairs, he is still overly cautious. It took him a full 32 seconds to come all the way down the stairs.”
When Rico’s mom noticed him doing the same thing all the time, she recorded it as proof.
Since the ordeal, Hall has recovered, but Rico does the same routine when he comes down the stairs. The fully committed pup sees no reason whatsoever to change.
Island Dog Inc. had brought in Rico as a stray from Puerto Rico, and it is from them that Hall had adopted him.
Hall says: “I saw his picture on Facebook and immediately fell in love. He’s super sweet and friendly. He’s never met a human or animal he doesn’t love!”
Although Rico will probably never walk down the stairs the same way again, he’s now giving his new family a good laugh with his antics.
