Richie is a Main Coon, and has a unique color and fur coat which makes it easily recognizable. It seems that he wears another white fur coat over his black one. People all over the world, who’ve seen Richie on the internet, have named him a lemur or a yeti cat.
Born in November 2020, Richie soon rose to fame after his owner created a separate social media page for him. Richie’s owner had this to say about him: “We found a local French breeder who is famous for his Maine Coons.
We ordered a cat from him, and we had to choose a color at birth. We picked black smoke, not even knowing that Richie would acquire such a unique color. The breeder immediately noticed at birth that Richie will be very fluffy. We had to wait four months before we took our baby home.”
The owner goes on to say that Richie is extremely sociable and loves playing with other cats. When the owners cook, the Main Coon sits next to them and watching their every move as if he’s inspecting their cooking. Talking about cat care, Richie’s owner had this to say: “Richie has a daily morning routine of brushing him completely to avoid tangles that easily form on his coat. Once a week we take care of his eyes, nose, nails and ears.” Richie’s fan base has hit the 100,000 mark; hence he is now becoming a true feline influencer in his own right.
The happy owner sums up saying; “We work with a few brands that Richie has tested and loves. It’s always a pleasure to introduce our followers to new toys and other cat accessories. We try to offer what Richie likes.”
