Sisters with a Combined Age of 570 Years Set New Guinness World Record

Farmington, Missouri, USA – The Overall sisters, six remarkable siblings hailing from Farmington, Missouri, have collectively achieved a monumental feat by setting a new Guinness World Record. Their combined age surpasses an impressive 570 years, with each sister boasting an extraordinary longevity that spans generations.

Norma Jacob, the eldest among them, marks her centenary at 101 years old, while the youngest, Elma Jennings, remains youthful at 88. Joining them are Lorene Kollmeyer, aged 98; Maxine Cole, aged 97; Doris Griffith, aged 94; and Margaret Norton, aged 90.

In an exclusive interview with ABC7 television, Maxine Cole revealed that the inspiration to pursue this record-breaking endeavor came from her nephew Dean, the son of their eldest sister, Norma.

Guinness World Records experts meticulously verified their ages, scrutinizing over 100 official documents to confirm the sisters’ combined age of 570 years and 40 days at the time of analysis.

The sisters commemorated their achievement with a heartwarming photograph, donning t-shirts adorned with personalized inscriptions for easy identification.

Reflecting on their upbringing, Maxine Cole fondly recalled their childhood rooted in the values of the First Baptist Church in Farmington. “Our parents instilled in us the golden rule: to treat others as we would like to be treated. They taught us kindness and love,” shared the spirited 97-year-old.

Continuing a cherished tradition initiated by their mother, the sisters gather annually each summer for a joyous picnic to celebrate the birthdays of the three sisters born in July.

For these close-knit sisters, their enduring health and happiness are credited to the steadfast values of family unity. They hold a deep affection for their sole brother, Stanley.

Janet Douglas, a lifelong friend and classmate of Elma Jennings, reminisced fondly, describing the sisters as intelligent, lively, and genuinely friendly, with an unwavering devotion to their beloved brother, Stanley.
